Bahria University Libraries aim to encourage and support both academic and research activities of university students, researchers, faculty members and university staff. These provide a full range of services that include book loans, online information searching, reference services, photocopying, access to million of digital resources, and research support services i.e. End note training and APA style manual etc. Presently Bahria University has six main libraries and one Departmental Library. There are 27 staff members, out of which 12 are professionals with master or bachelor degrees in Library and Information Science.
BU Libraries provide web accessible information resources, and easy access to advanced learning facilities. These libraries are managed by qualified and experienced staff who are dedicated to provide quality services to its users. Its culture of self servicing, trust, tolerance, and sharing makes it unique among all other educational institutions present in the country. Bahria University libraries provide the access to following online resources. More than 60,000 books (full text Locally + HEC) all subjects. 20 online international databases. (Full text). 10 million articles. All the technical functions are computerized, the link of Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) is placed on website of Bahria University library web page for the easy access to the users. The OPAC provides the detailed information of the material available in library. Besides this, Electronic magnetic Security System is installed for the collection of reference Section.
